Pipya
-
Pipya (multilink) is a project emerged from the desire to explore the boundaries between the possibilities offered by electronic experiences and various genres of instrumental and underground sonorities. The aim is to transcend the limits imposed by labels and to propose a cross-cutting musical vision capable of generating new imagery.
In live performances, Pipya performs as a solo or with the quartet Pipya And The Gang Band, with whom he rearranges his repertoire: the group brings together members who, despite coming from diverse musical backgrounds, share a similar vision of music, sound, and improvisation. From this union emerges a sound that blends Electronic Music, Clubbing, Post-Rock, Prog, New Jazz, and Avant-Garde, creating a wall of sound where synthesizers, heavy basslines, acoustic and electronic drums, transformed saxophones, and distorted guitars all converge.
The project has been part of Montreux Jazz Festival Residencies 2024 and is managed by Panico Concerti.

And The Gang Band Vol. I is the third full-length Pipya’s release, but the first to feature the complete Pipya And The Gang Band lineup, alongside additional instrumental collaborations. The music grows out of the interaction between musicians with different backgrounds, bringing together synthesizers, heavy basslines, acoustic and electronic drums, distorted guitars and heavily processed saxophones.
Electronic music, post-rock, progressive music, new jazz and avant-garde experimentation coexist within an intentionally open-ended musical framework. Arrangements leave room for interaction and improvisation, allowing the compositions to retain the exploratory quality of PIPYA’s live performances.

“Dungeon Clash Tournament expands Pipya’s approach into a collaborative and highly conceptual format. Structured as an eight-track musical tournament, the album features eight different artists from the European underground scene, with each collaboration representing a different encounter between musical languages, production aesthetics and personalities.
The record takes inspiration from the logic and aesthetics of arcade and videogame culture. Each track functions almost like a new level or stage, introducing a different sonic environment while remaining part of a larger narrative structure. Electronic music, experimental production, club-oriented rhythms, alternative sounds and more unconventional approaches collide and transform one another throughout the album.
The result is an eclectic, energetic and deliberately nonlinear album — a sonic videogame where every track opens a different door, but all of them belong to the same strange universe.”

Nuhara
-
Nuhara (website) is a Sicilian trio blending ancient oral traditions with contemporary electronic sound. From its debut, the project has been widely appreciated and supported by international magazines (such as The Quietus), Radios and Festivals (such as WOMEX and Triennale Milano), immediately finding itself in prestigious position inside some of the most important international world music charts.
Drawing from archival recordings collected since the 1950s, their music reimagines traditional songs through a mix of ethnographic research, electroacoustic textures, traditional vocal techniques and instrumental rhythms. The result is a unique dialogue between past and present, where forgotten sounds are reborn in a modern sonic landscape. Their debut release, Rama, published via Trovarobato in May 2026, is a concept album reviving nine ancient Sicilian work songs in a new form.

"One of the finest albums I’ve heard in a long time." (The Quietus)
"Music that evokes not only the power of the sonic landscape, but also a lucid and contemporary vision of the most imaginative forms of experimentation." (BlowUp)
Rama is the debut album by Sicilian trio Nuhara where (reportedly) “Alan Lomax meets IDM”.
The trio—composed of ethnomusicologist and multi-instrumentalist Michele Piccione, electronic producer/composer Federico Pipia (Pipya), and guitarist/vocalist Gabriele Bazza—has crafted a fluid, organic mosaic where ancestral Mediterranean memory violently collides with today's utting-edge future sounds
